Edward Everett Hale – cdv, backstamped “Warren’s Portraits/465 Washington St./Boston”. The 2.5 x 3.75” card appears to have been slightly trimmed on the bottom. A few minor spots on the upper margins of the image- which may have been on the plate. Hale was a minister, author (“A Man Without A Country”), and a reformer who inspired the “Lend a Hand” societies. A nice image. [#6457]
