Trumans' 1952 Christmas gift print

$350.00

The Trumans’ 1952 Christmas gift print; their final Christmas as First Couple. The 13 x 10.5 print is a beautiful b/w photo of the Southeast corner of the White House, capturing a small portion of the now missing East Wing.

Mary Seeley was the pioneer in collecting White House Christmas cards and presidential Christmas gifts.  Her definitive book “Season’s Greetings From The White House” records that there were two versions; one in black and white and a second, almost certainly smaller number, printed in color.  She does not report how many were produced of each variety 1but only 1,000 printed were produced in 1951.

There is some slight waving of the thick paper in areas as seen in the scan.
